"NM" comes from the first letter of the Chinese pinyin "NaiMo", which means wear-resistant steel, and 500 represents the target value of Brinell hardness (HB). E represents the quality grade.
NM500E implementation standard:
The implementation standard of NM500E steel plate is GB/T 24186-2022 "High-strength wear-resistant steel plate and steel strip for engineering machinery", which stipulates the size, shape, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging, marking and quality certificate of high-strength wear-resistant steel plate.
