Description:
904L stainless steel is a super austenitic stainless steel material, and also a highly alloyed austenitic stainless steel with a very low carbon content. It has good corrosion resistance in dilute acid and is designed for harsh corrosive environments.
904L stainless steel has a high chromium content and sufficient nickel content. The addition of copper makes it very resistant to acid, especially to chloride crevice corrosion and stress corrosion cracking. It is very unlikely to have pitting and cracks, and its pitting resistance is slightly better than other steel types. It has good machinability and weldability.
