430 Stainless Steel Plate
430 stainless steel is the most widely used of the non-hardenable ferritic stainless steels. It contains nominally 16% chromium (Cr).
430 stainless steel has good corrosion, heat and oxidation resistance up to 1500°F (816°C) and has good mechanical properties. Type 430 is a non-stabilized stainless steel and therefore is not suitable for all welding applications.

Description:
430 Stainless Steel Plate/Sheet is made from pure chromium and is also known as a non-hardenable grade due to its ferritic nature. It has excellent corrosion and heat resistance as well as high strength compared to chrome-nickel grades and is easily formed, drawn, machined and bent and is often used in applications where the metal requires magnets to be fixed, which is not the case with the 300 series.
