Grade 347H steel has a higher carbon content (between 0.04% and 0.1%) than regular grade 347 steel (≥ 0.08%), which improves creep properties and strength at temperatures above 1000°F. Grade 347 not only performs well at high temperatures, but also exhibits excellent toughness at low temperatures.

Description:
Grade 347H steel has a higher carbon content (between 0.04% and 0.1%) than regular grade 347 steel (≥ 0.08%), which improves creep properties and strength at temperatures above 1000°F. Grade 347 not only performs well at high temperatures, but also exhibits excellent toughness at low temperatures.
While both steels can only be hardened by cold working (not heat treating), they can be easily welded and formed using standard steel processing and fabrication methods.
